Monohair
A series of monotype prints inspired by the hair I lost during my hospitalization. Hair, a symbol of enduring strength, beauty, and vitality, began to fall out as I battled illness. It was then that I realized the power and sense of identity my hair provided, reflecting our physical and mental health.
Collecting every strand that fell, I felt a desire to capture and commemorate this chapter of my life. I preserved their strength and painterly quality through monotype printing and later transformed them using screen printing techniques. These works were exhibited in the Screen Printing Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice in 2023 as part of the annual studio exhibition.
